I want to invite you to be a member of my team for the 15th annual Komen Austin Race for the Cure on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Downtown Austin. This will be my 3rd annual run that I am doing for my mother, Mary Alice Reyes.

One in eight women will face breast cancer in her lifetime. This is our opportunity to help local women like Lorraine, a triple negative breast cancer survivor. She knew she couldn't afford treatment because she didn't have health insurance through her job; she worked for a small business and was denied Medicaid. Komen Austin connected her to WINGS, one of the community partners they fund, which got the cost of her treatment fully covered.

Not only can you join my team, but you can help in raising funds for this worthy cause. Once you register, visit your participant center. There is a wealth of content to help you in your fundraising efforts.
